I actually use these to get to sleep at night, so I go through 7 or 8 per week. Buying in bulk is super cool.

I have suffered from allergies my whole life. As a child my parents took me to an Allergist for testing and treatment. In those days,I had to receive six
(yes,6) injections in each arm to control my allergies. I am one of those people who is practically allergic to everything except food; for example: animal hair, mold, dust, perfumes, most soaps, detergents, plants, trees.......and the list goes on and on. My allergies are so bad that I was always told to remove all "dust collectors" like curtains, stuffed animals, and anything else that might just sit around and collect dust.
As an adult, I continued to see an Allergist regularly. I tried shots again (only 1 shot was necessary),and my body had a very negative reaction to the shot. I started to pass out. Luckily I was in the Allergy Center at a local hospital, and they knew exactly what to do. Since that incident, I refused any more allergy shots. After that, I took a single prescription drug my Doctor prescribed for me for many years that did help me. Once it went over-the-counter, I simply purchased it in the store leaving my allergist appointments behind me. One day this medicine stopped working and I had no idea what to do. I looked for a substitute, but was afraid of the new allergy medications that were being introduced left and right. One day I saw a box of Benadryl. Remembering my Doctor suggesting it to me many years ago, I tried it with no fear of any side effects. Benadryl had never bothered me before. To my surprise it worked very well. Even though I know there is nothing to cure these annoying allergies, I have continued with Benadryl as my product to control my many symptoms.
I am actually very happy with this product today after knowing about it for so many years. I order it from Amazon.com on a regular basis. The price and quantity are the best deal I have found so far. Of course I am not a Doctor, and I would suggest that anyone suffering from allergies go and see an Allergist before taking any medications like I did. I am convinced that Benadryl is an excellent choice for the relief of my many allergy symptoms.

If I take my Benedryl at bedtime and when I get up from sleeping; Benedryl controls all of my allergy symptoms, this is a great product for those who have nasty allergies. Have and will continue to purchase this product year around, because it works.

They work. They'll even stop my eyes from itching and, during allergy season, these are a godsend. However, they will make you very sleepy. There's a non-sleep variety, but they don't have the effect that these do, which is why I take these at bedtime.
And here's another plus: I, too, give Benedryl to my dog (a 17 pounder) when he starts scratching and he's already had a dose of Advantage and there are no fleas in evidence. Not only does it stop his scratching, but it was great on long trips because he'd just conk out for two or three hours in the back seat.

I also use this for my dogs. I use it for myself too. Using 14 pills a day (big dogs) I'd being going to the store all the time. Amazon makes things SO much easier and there are more pills to a bottle!
