Speaking as someone with many GI issues, Align was recommended to me many months ago by my "Gastro" Dr. as part of my new "let's get better" regimen. It takes a couple of weeks to really get your digestive system going but, HOLY COW!!, this stuff is great. My nausea was gone and my "plumbing" was now in good working order. I did make some dietary changes like staying away from foods that clearly bothered me and were hard to digest and also added Zegerid OTC. I feel fantastic!!! You all do need to know that this is not like taking an aspirin for a headache. It must be taken daily forever or for as long as you see fit. I'm NOT a Doctor. I'm just a very satisfied customer. if you have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) where your predominante simptom is diarrhea try this probiotic. There are scientific evidence of it's value in controling IBS symptoms. I have been using it for about 3 months and I am very happy with the results.

When I first started taking this, I had unbelievable bloating. This has settled down and now I have no symptoms of bloating--seems to make me feel better overall. I'll keep taking this product.

Align is ok. I changed to another probiotic because I read really good reviews and the cost was a quarter of Align. I have had a lot fewer problems since I changed to Advanced Probiotic. I think this is way over priced and really didn't help me all that much.

I have stopped taking Align. I went on a restrictive diet because my doctor told me my blood chemistry was not doing well--specifically my cholesterol was bad. So I stopped eating carbs and lost about 10 pounds in 2 weeks, but I also noticed all of my stomach problems went away. I then started looking into online forums to see if anyone had similar experiences and there were several people who noted that they too had felt better after losing carbs from their diet---more specifically bread/gluten. I have removed gluten from my diet and do not have any more problems unless I accidently eat something with gluten in it. Hope this helps, it has changed my life.
