So Far no Progression of Disease after 3 YearsAug 09, 2011

I take this product to delay incipient macular degeneration at the direction of my ophthalmologist. I have a very thorough ophthalmic exam each year at around this time, and the results of my retinal scan today showed a rather remarkable stasis when compared with each of the previous two years.
I have not found a better price on Preservision with Lutein anywhere else but I wish that this item were available for Amazon Subscription delivery. It is my single largest unreimburseable prescription expense, and the low prices on Amazon are very meaningful to me.
My doctor also suggests Billberry Concentrated Extract with Lutein, available on Amazon.com under the brand name "Spring Valley". I take two 1000mg caps each day. Spring Valley Softgels Bilberry

I discovered I had a 50% chance of loosing my sight so my Dr. put me on this. 2 a day to save my sight, I don't care what it costs. Softgels are small so very easy to take.

This product was recommended for an ederly person with sight problems related to age. The doctor recommended this vitamin to prevent further deterioration of sight, and so far has worked just fine. No alergy issues nor liver damage. Great stuff.

This product was prescribed to me by my very fine ophthalmalogist, and while I haven't seen the benefit yet, I have a great deal of respect for my doctor. She graduated 1st in her class from Harvard, and I know whe wouldn't prescribe it if she didn't really believe it will help my early Macular Degeneration.
