The other reviewer was relating his body's reaction to this product, not the actual quality of the product. I have been using this for 4 years in one form or another. I noticed that the first thing that happened was my nails became strong and grew like gang busters! That is a reaction to the product that was a plus for me. I went to the Doctor for my last bone scan and my bones have not gotten any worse and even though barely measurable have actually improved slightly. I can not take the other drugs for density improvement due to side effects and this is at least helping me. This product does what it says it does in the least expensive way. It is much better than the other calcium products that I have tried and that is a lot of them. I could not be happier.

The bottle I received has "D3" instead of just "D" on it. The caplet is big but swallow (I take with one gulp of water) very smoothly (I could not do same with centrum), without food, without any symptom of bloating or constipation. The calcium and vit D content in this formulation is perfectly right for my required daily intake (630mg Ca and 500 IU vitD in each caplet). The amt of calcium packed into this caplet is impressive, and the citrate form is "supposedly" easy to absorb. Kudos to Bayer scientists.

I have been taking this brand of Calcium for years, if not decades. One day I had the weakness of buying another brand of Calcium Citrate with Vit.D3. Those pills were longer and had no soft finish or rounded edges and were hard on the throat. I'll never use any other brand!Citracal Calcium Citrate and D3 240-Count

I have been taking Calcium Citrate for many years now. Highly recommended by my doctor. Calcium carbonate caused me to get constipated and as soon as I switched to citrate, I have had no problem. The calcium I am taking has 200mg calcium citrate/ 200iu vitamin D3 (must be D3) and 100 mg of magnesium per tablet, 4 tablets is a serving. Can someone tell me the content of EACH of these tablets as I would like to switch brands. Calcium must be taken with magnesium and vitamin D3, according to my doctor and what I have read, if not the calcium won't do what it is supposed to.
