5Methylcellulose Fiber 500 mgNov 09, 2010
By Melanie Cruz "Mary Michael"
This is one product I'd be uncomfortable not to be able to obtain. It seems to have a mind of its own. It works perfectly for my ailment (IBS). I take four two to four times daily when needed and it is most affective and always reliable. From Amazon, this was a great deal value pack. One can spend $15/$16 dollars most often in drugstores for 100 caplets. I'll be back.

Works great if you take enough. I take 6 a day. Helps to also be sure to get enough calcium (with magnesium).
It seems it has also helped my cholesterol levels, according to my specialist.

2Need to max out on dosageJun 12, 2011

I am gluten intolerant so I can't take the usual fiber laxatives so I tried Citrucel for 30 days. I was taking 4 to 5 tablets per day with minimum effect.

4Much less gas than psyllium fiber supplements!Jan 31, 2012

Works just as a fiber supplement should. Citrucel however, does it with much less production of intestinal gas than psyllium fibers. This is all I use now.

My gastroenterologist recommend that I take 3 pills in the morning and 3 in the evening. Things have been better ever since and I've been using them for over two years now. Go for the bigger bottles because you go through them fast.
