After my vet recomended Glucosamine Condroitin MSM for my 2 years old Westie with hip dysplasia
as a daily supplement I went to search on the net what was the best one for her, Based on many reviews
I choose Consequin DS and I am very happy with the result
I choose Dasuquin also, and she loves too - beacuse taste very good

Our vet put our 10 year old dog on this after he injured his leg while playing. His limp had gotten progressively worse for about 2 months and alternative treatments by another vet. Within weeks of taking this product we saw a marked improvement - lack of limp and the renewed ability to walk normally. Until this time he was unable to go for the walks that he loved. He would always come home limping.

Didn't notice a difference in my dogs ability to get around while using this product. My dog was somewhat active before and after use but it made no significant difference to speak of. This is why I rated it a 3.

Hi Just starting to use it today. Tried for almost two weeks with a different brand. But Costco had this in stock yesterday and will start today on it. It was $39.99 at Costco and will try it. What is wrong my dog has been ill for the last almost 5 years. Short answer her whole breathing, more details will be on her web site shadow.ws, in the future. But by being on certain med and her age almost 13 years old, she is almost starting to walk on her hind knees. I will try anything she is not in pain and some now say I should put her down but why she is happy and seems very happy so I will try these and will give a report sometime in the future if they work or does not work. We had originally bought the pill form of cosequin and would sprinkle the white powder on "Hercules" (our 12 yr old yellow lab)dog food since pills came in thick plastic capsules we were worried about upsetting his stomach well he wasn't eating all his food so we decided to try the chewables and thank god we did he loves them they taste so good we sometimes give him one for good behavior after about a week we noticed improved mobility he originally had problems getting up the stairs but now makes it up them with no problems if you have a Lab or a bigger heavier dog than this product is a must have and Amazon has the cheapest price around! My Vet wanted $30 more than what Amazon sells it for I will definite buy this product again!
