Seems to be helping!Sep 25, 2007

My dog has shown improvement since starting him on this medication. He seems to have stabalized when walking up and down our stairs and not lose his footing on our hardwood floors. I do plan to buy more to continue his treatment.

Improved quality of life for our arthritic dogSep 29, 2006
By Sandra Clark Our veterinarian suggested glucosamine for our dog and I am very glad we decided to give it a try. After only a couple of weeks of taking glucosamine she no longer whined or whimpered when she got up from laying down. The nice thing about this product is that it doesn't have to be hidden in food, our dog gobbles it up like a biscuit. The price can't be beat.

Glucosamine for DogsApr 06, 2008

The product arrived promptly. Our dog actually likes taking her vitamin after dinner. The positive effects developed over time. Our older basset hound can now climb stairs and jump up on the furniture again. Wait..is that a good thing? :)

Maybe not great for every day use - at least not for Ceilie!Mar 03, 2009
By pixels and bits Ceilie is our 14 year old black lab/springer spaniel mix who is feeling her years! We started giving her these tablets once a day and she seemed to love them for the first week. After that, she really didn't want to take them any more and seemed very reluctant to put them in her mouth. Indeed, we'd noticed that she'd been a bit gassier but the last time we finally encouraged her to eat one she brought it back up within minutes. Maybe it was just too much for her delicate tummy. Really, I think they gave her heartburn!
Every once in a while we give her one as a sort of "booster". She doesn't seem to have a negative reaction to the occasional supplementary use. For daily therapy, we give her the Happy Hips duck or chicken jerky treats sold by Dogswell. Amazon carries these treats and offer great prices for them. She has responded extremely well to the Happy Hips products, loves them, and they don't upset her tummy!

Keeps my dog running....Jun 01, 2007
By j. We have been using this product for our 13 year old Lab, for many years. The treat is taken well, and the dog moves around, with no problems. When the Vet checks his hips, the dog is uncomfortable, but his daily routine is great. Buy direct from the seller site - for a discount
NOTE: At one time, the dog was having problems jumping and everyday movement - The problem was the thyroid - A few thyroid pills a day from the VET, and he is in great shape for a senior dog....
