Become heart healthy the natural, Nature Made wayFeb 07, 2009

I've been using fish oil for many years, but never tried Nature Made until last year. The statement they make on that their "supply comes from deep ocean waters" as opposed to "farm raised fish" was of high interest. I've heard some horror stories about farm raised fish and decided I'd like to stay clear of any pollutants.
The bottle states that it contains fish (Anchovy, Sardine) and soy. Other ingredients are gelatin (non-bovine), glycerin, water, tocopharol. A couple other items of interest for some people are that the product contains no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, yeast, starch or gluten.
Every now and then I go to the Nature Made site for a little reading and to enter my Wellness Rewards Points to get a higher valued coupon to redeem now and then. One other factor to note for those with younger children, is that the cap on this bottle is not childproof. As always, it is a must to consult your physician when using any supplements.

Omega-3 fatty acidsAug 20, 2010

I take fish oil supplements to aid in muscle gain, fat loss, and overall health. Fish oil is full of BCAAs (branch chain amino acids) that are highly effective in helping your body gain lean muscle mass. I've been taking this brand for the last month (2 pills in the morning and 2 after my work out) and they've definitely helped with my energy levels through the day. Combined with a good source of protein, they also help me stay full. It's always hard to objectively review supplements that provide long term medical benefits; suffice it to say that I trust what the medical community has to say about fish oil being beneficial to my heart health.
These pills are a good value in my opinion, and Amazon sells them cheaper than just about anywhere else.
Fish Oil for good healthNov 18, 2011
By Glenny How do you really know whether a supplement is working as it should? We shop around for the best price on 1200mg capsules with omega-3. The last time I ordered this product, it was $18.30 but when I wanted to re-order, the price had increased to $19.69, which is still not bad, but I went to Meijers and got a better deal.
Good value, terrible digestive propertiesOct 19, 2011
By Jana Ditton Ugh, these are horrible to keep down. I have tried every which way, with food, without food, on and empty stomach, on a full stomach...my stomach does not want! Not to be too graphic, but the after taste that comes with any burping after taking these is pure sardines, and I've lost my cookies twice from taking these. I'm trying really hard to stick with these because I'm pregnant, but I'm not sure how much more I can stand. Of course I ordered the big bottle!
