just what I expectedDec 06, 2011
By Anna Good product. Exactly what I had expected. Slight fishy aftertaste for next hour or so after taking but that's common for DHA products.

This will be my second time using theseFeb 19, 2012
By Meghan I used these through my first pregnancy and bought them again when we talked about having another. They're good as these things go and means you only have to take one pill instead of the separate DHA.

Great prenatal vitaminFeb 18, 2012
By Michelle I have taken a few other prenatal vitamins and switched to these with my second pregnancy. I get severe nausea during pregnancy but I was fine taking these, they didn't make my sickness any worse and I honestly didn't notice any fishy taste/smell at all with these. I took them for my entire pregnancy and am taking these postpartum as well. I like this brand and it's my favorite prenatal that I've tried.
One pill a dayMay 09, 2012
By Marcus Bautista Yes, if you haven't notice I am not a female however I take these things very seriously and we actually purchased this product at our doctor's recommendation. For the most part ever prenatal vitamin is slightly different but our doctor was only concerned about a couple major ingredients which every vitamin satisfied. The reason why this one stood out is that it is a soft gel and only one pill to get both the vitamins and the fish oil/ Dha which makes it easier/ less of a hassle. The doctor mentioned taking too many pills at once reduces the absorption so this was a good way to not have to worry about that. Also having a 150 pill bottle is almost enough for 5 months (give or take a few days) so two will be enough for the entire pregnancy but Nature Made makes smaller bottles I thought this was pretty convenient. It is hard to be convincing because picking the right multivitamin for you or your spouse is really up to you and the doctor. Sure there are tons of opinions online and even your doctor will have their opinion but in the end it is how well the body holds up. My wife did have a short period where her nails thinned so we has to increase calcium intake a little but other then that there has not been any noticeable deficiency other then iron which is common. If you are reading this review I will assume congratulations are in order and we have tried two other brands of vitamins and will say my wife is impartial to which is better. I hope this helps you as if this is your first child like me, this whole thing is a new experience. Best of luck everyone.
Great product but....May 04, 2012
By Carol C. Ortiz I don't have a problem with this product except how huge the pill is. Every time I take it I have to position it vertically before I swallow the pill so that it doesn't hurt as it goes down my throat. Even it being a softgel doesn't help how painful it slowly goes down your throat and yes that has happened to me and there's nothing you can do but wait. I've also gagged taking it a few times. If you are the kind of person that has a hard time swallowing pills then buy another product there are plenty of good ones out there!
