 Very effective for meJan 23, 2012

I began taking this for relief from a suicidal depression a few weeks ago. In fairly short order, the very black cloud lifted and I felt able to deal with life again. I still haven't found a job or solved all of my other problems, but now they just seem like problems to be solved rather than obstacles that made my life not worth living. I also got complete relief from my chronic lower back pain. That actually surprised me, but I see that it is one of the documented benefits of SAM-e supplementation.

Yep, this is the same product you will get at the drugstore, but at a better price. On the other hand, check prices in case there is a BOGO sale at the local drugstore.
It works--in my case by helping my regular anti-D do its work.

Really gives your mood a boost - just let it build up for a week or so, youll see, it DOES work. However, I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the price...a bit high. There are other cheaper brands out there but you will probably not get this quality.

I had good results as far as my mood went. within a week and a half I was feeling markedly better and had more motivation.
However within a few days of taking it I began to have stomach pain and acute nausea.
It was taking over my life. I heard that there were no dangerous side effects. and I wasnt in danger
I was simply miserable. It took a month 2 doctor visits and an ultrasound to get down to the bottom of the problem.
It took only one day off of the product and I was already feeling normal again as far as digestion. no more nausea and
stomach pain. Perhaps I am allergic to one of the ingredients in the product or perhaps my stomach lining was
already compromised in some way so that the acid of which Sam-e is made up of was caustic and created
my bad condition.
since then I have ready many reviews stating that this product can elicit GI problems.
In fact nearly one third of people in the first testing of this product dropped out because of
similar problems.
So bottom line is take it slow and watch for symptoms and I hope this works for you.
