My Great Dane and I are sold on Move Free Advanced Plus MSM.
I've suffered for years with deteriorating knee joints. So bad had my condition become that I could not even spend a couple of hours on my knees working in my flower garden without incurring pain and swelling that left me hobbling for literally weeks. I have not wanted to take prescription medications for my condition and I've never believed the claims made by makers of over-the-counter products. So I just put up with the pain and resigned myself to the hard facts of aging. I don't feel this way anymore.
This past winter, my dog suddenly had trouble getting up and moving around. I decided to give her Glucosamine even though I was skeptical of its efficacy. I purchased Move Free Advanced, just by chance, and began a regimen of two pills a day. Six weeks later my elderly Dane was romping like a two-year-old, chasing bears again (at our New Hampshire home) and terrorizing the turkeys and squirrels that inhabit the area around our bird feeders. I watched in disbelief, then began to take the pills myself. Four weeks, or so, later, my knees stopped popping and hurting and I experienced what seemed to be an increase in tissue mass around both joints. If there's a downside, I've yet to experience it. I am careful not to abuse my joints and I wear knee pads when I'm on all fours. Still, I can garden for hours without any discomfort or lingering pain, whatsoever. Naturally, I am delighted, although I must qualify my remarks by noting that, while I've also experienced welcomed improvement in my finger joints, the relief, is not as profound as it is in the knees, which now feel, well, terrific.  Problem from Unknown IngredientMay 30, 2008

I have had headaches and upset stomach from this product. I have stopped taking it twice and started again and the problems came back each time. I don't know which of the ingredients is causing my problem. If you haven't taken this before, I suggest you start with a small amount in case you have similar reactions.

I discontinued usage of the original (no msm) after doing some research and checking with my doctor who did not believe these things worked. After a few weeks my pain level grew much higher. I have been taking this version now for 3 months and pain is mostly gone. I wish I could find some non company research which was favorable but still they do seem to work for me.

I started taking this when I was having shoulder pain, not knowing that I had torn many things in my shoulder and it took care of 90% of the pain until I stopped taking it. It helped me get though many sports until I could have surgery.
