I've tried other brands, but for some reason this is the only one that makes a difference for me. Maybe it's the 'Vinpocetine' this one has, I don't know; but the other brands so far just make me feel like I haven't taken a thing. I usually buy this at Costco, was glad to find it here. In addition to improving focus, it actually does improve mood & energy. Also find it gives me that extra bit of 'push' to get things done when my energy isn't so bad but my motivation or endurance is less than optimal.

I felt a difference almost immediately. I felt wide awake and mentally ready for anything. I have taken Ginko for the last 20 years, and I feel a difference when I miss a dose, but I have never felt an improvement on my senses like this before. It will be the version that I purchase from now on until it is discontinued.

Iinitially I was concerned with the size of the pill but after I reluctantly took the first one, I found it to be a piece of cake and I didn't have a problem swallowing it. My main problem is remembering to take it twice a day. Once I started to see results just by taking it once a day, I figured things would have to get even better if made an effort to do as instructed ... so I did and things continued to improve. It's a keeper!

So the way this is designed the ginkgo is in a harder sheall that does not get digested in the stomach. It opens up in the intestine. So there's no unpleasent aftertaste or burps. I have been using ginkgo for about 2 years, the real benefit is in my reflexes - much faster. It also improves my ability to concentrate. I have tried a few brands from Kirkland to Trader Joes, NOW, Dr. Weil, etc. and this is the only one without ANY aftertaste. I will buy this brand again.
