Guys, many of us are afflicted with minor urinary problems caused by BPH (benign prostate hyperplasia) as we reach the half century mark. The key word is "benign". This is NOT prostate cancer and does not require surgery. If you do nothing, the worst that will happen is your prostate keeps growing and begins to choke off urine flow and displace bladder capacity.
I saw a noted urologist who preferred to take the "watchful waiting" approach.
This means keep monitoring the symptoms and get regular digital exams. Digital exam, in this context, means a physician sticks his finger in your rectum to feel the size and shape of the prostate gland. This exam is relatively uninvasive (no cutting)and does not require any expensive equipment. No big deal. I get one of these exams with my annual physical.
If you want to take immediate action, there are several surgical options that either reduce the size of the prostate or eliminate it entirely. Now I call that invasive, and expensive, and it will negative affect your sexual performance.
Another immediate action is taking prescription pharmaceuticals such as Flowmax.
They are very active is shrinking the prostate, but also affect sexual performance as well as producing other undesirable side affects. These drugs are expensive, and health care professionals are quick to add that once you start this treatment you should never stop.
This takes us to the herbal approach. Saw Palmetto seems to help many reduce the symptoms of BPH. There seems to be evidence that Lycopene, Zinc and pumpkins seed oil also help. This is what this TruNature product contains. I have been using this product for about a year. It seems to help and I suffer no side affects. I can't say that it has shruck my prostate, but it hasn't continued its growth. And the symptoms have been reduced.
TruNature has increased the container size from 200 to 250 doses and apparently dropped the price (based upon the prices offered by Amazon. I don't understand why Amazon offer the exact same product in two sizes and charges more for the smaller bottle. I compared the two botles side by side and the active ingredient per softgeal capsule amouts are identical. It's a no-brainer, order the 250 count bottle.

"Taking time to grow..."
Have used this product for over a year now and found that it is very effective. I recommend it strongly. I can't speak to other brands and don't want to experiment unless this brand becomes unavailable. Big thanks to the man who recommended it to me.

I did some reading and research. Chose the ingredients most brands highlighted for purpose. Found products that had them all, and picked this brand. I have used it everyday since I received it 2 weeks ago....things are definitely better and I noticed it after the second day. I don't think I'am "good as new" but it corrected the dribbles and the midnight bathroom trip. All I could ask!

(11/2010) - I wasn't sure this product would work, but after reading lots of reviews for this and Saw Palmetto in general, I decided to give it a try. After a week, I could definitely tell that my peeing was less restrictive. It was like going back 10-15 years ago. My brother-in-law is also using this and has been having good results. I'm 65 and I'll continue to use this for the foreseeable future. One suggestion, if you have a Costco nearby, you can save about 60% on this.
Supplement Facts-1 softgel: Zinc-15mg; Selenium-55mcg; Saw Palmetto extract-320mg (standardized to 85% [272mg] fatty acids w/active sterols); Lycopene-300mg; Pumpkin Seed oil-480mg (this contains Palmitic Acid-66.7mg, Stearic Acid-27.8mg, Oleic Acid-115.2mg, and Linoleic Acid-266.4mg).
Update: I've been using this product for a year now and it is working just as good as when I first tried it. I'd recommend older men give this a try. Plus, if you have a Costco nearby, you can save more money.

Been using this product for about 4 years and it has maintained my prostate PSA levels at highly satisfactory! Have tried other products, but this seems to be the best combination and strength.
